Ouida Ward was born and raised in Culpeper, Virginia. She grew up raising animals ranging from reptiles, chickens, cats/dogs, and horses. Prior to working at SAC at PEP, Ouida worked as a kennel assistant/trainer at a local dog rescue then worked as a equine vet assistant at a local chiropractic/acupuncture clinic.

Ouida has 2 horses (Hayley and Monty), 2 dogs (Remi and Hank), and 2 cats (Kit Kat and Bunny). Her hobbies include horse showing, hiking, and doing anything outdoorsy
